In this busy, changing, hectic world, I find peace in the outdoors. Something in the landscape always jars my conscience and causes me to stop and just be. My goal is to create a visual; image that arrests - just for an instant - and offers a moment to wonder. Through my paintings, I strive to elicit a personal and emotional response, a meditation or reflection of what led us to this place in time.
