SEEKING THE FOUNTAINHEAD
The work in this series is about exploration: of paint, of surface and of space.
To layers of textural surface I applied layers of bold, unblended color in an effort to examine the idea of depth in the natural world. It is my intent to remind the viewer of the complex and deep understanding of place we can have if we engage multiple senses when experiencing our surroundings.
